Grateful to Tony, Angel, Tabytha, Jon, Andrea, and Terranisha for joining me at our home to talk about bail reform and how we can do more to keep families together. It was a profound conversation about what freedom really means to us: the ability to support our families, nurture our kids, and pursue opportunities for work and education.

We talked about why people awaiting trial deserve the same freedom to stay with their loved ones and continue supporting their families.

Thank you to each of you for bringing your experiences and wisdom into our home. The real story of bail reform—ordinary stories of people going about their lives—rarely makes headlines. What if we could change that? We are breathing life through storytelling into the growing body of data proving bail reform’s success. Head over to gatheringforfreedom.org to watch the full film, share your story of freedom, and learn more about bail reform. #freeamerica
