Liu Xiangqiang in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, has built what is believed to be the world’s smallest jet aircraft and successfully completed its maiden flight.⁣
He has spent 16 years building aircraft, producing nearly 600 with his team. The jet, measuring 3.8m in length with a 4.8m wingspan, is said to surpass the record held by the BD-5J for 25 years.⁣
Liu’s dream is to travel across China — and the world — in an aircraft he built himself.⁣
