Cheers to no longer being the 1% of the 1% :))

If you know me, you know for the last 13 years I’ve battled back injuries, surgery complications and a reoccurring staph infection. At every turn, I was the 1% of cases, a novelty case among novelty cases.
 This weekend marks 2 years since I finished my final round of antibiotics to combat my staph, and my risk of reoccurrence drops to less than 1%. On top of that, I get to celebrate zero pain in my back which means that my case is officially closing!!!

  To be honest, there were so many days where I didn’t know if I was ever gonna get to celebrate this milestone. Who knows where I’d be if it were for my family and friends who supported me through all my treatments and encouraged me on the hard days. I wouldn’t have made it without the doctors & medical professionals who stuck with me, treated me and believed in my symptoms, even when symptoms didn’t make any sense. 

  I’m so happy to close this chapter of my life, most of all I’m so grateful that the Lord has been so faithful and has restored my health better than I could’ve imagined it 🥹🥹
