A new tradition begins! ✨ UF College of Nursing proudly celebrated its inaugural Florence Nightingale Doctoral Lamp Lighting Ceremony, honoring our Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD graduates as they step into the next chapter of leadership.

Inspired by Florence Nightingale’s enduring symbol of light, this ceremony represents knowledge, service, science and compassionate care. Our graduates are more than scholars, they are innovators, system thinkers and change-makers ready to transform health care on a global scale. As each lamp was lit, so was a commitment: to lead boldly, think critically and serve with integrity.

To our newest doctoral-prepared Gator Nurses, this is your moment. The question is: What will you do with the light? 💡🐊 #CareLeadInspireBoldly #UFNursing70
