Graduating Senior Spotlight ✨🎓

Meet Jasmine Sudds ’26, an anthropology major from Los Angeles, whose Trinity experience has been grounded in purpose, community, and a clear vision for the future.

Jasmine was drawn to Trinity by the strong sense of connection she felt even before arriving on campus.

“The relationships built with students early on showed me what kind of experience I could expect,” she says. Combined with the opportunities offered through the anthropology department, Trinity felt like the right place to pursue her long-standing academic interests.

During her time at Trinity, Jasmine found meaningful growth through leadership and service, particularly with the Black Student Union and the Office of the Dean of Students. In these roles, she built lasting connections while advocating for equity and supporting the campus community.

From participating in the MLK march to giving back on San Antonio’s Eastside, her experiences reflect a deep commitment to both action and community care.

While Jasmine’s goals remained steady, her time at Trinity helped refine her skills and expand her impact. Opportunities like studying abroad and participating in the McNair Scholars Program strengthened her development as a researcher, anthropologist, and leader.

After graduation, Jasmine will serve as a full-time program assistant at Abston Therapeutics, supporting psychotherapy initiatives focused on reducing recidivism. She also plans to pursue a master’s degree in forensic anthropology, with the goal of becoming a board-certified forensic anthropologist working in international law.

Her advice to future Tigers: “You only live once—find what you love, stay focused, and enjoy the journey.”
