અમદાવાદના અસારવા વિસ્તારમાં આવેલી રજિસ્ટ્રાર કચેરીમાં ACBએ સફળ ટ્રેપ ગોઠવી મોટી કાર્યવાહી હાથ ધરી છે.
મકાનના દસ્તાવેજમાં ક્ષતિ દૂર કરવા બદલ 2.50 લાખ રૂપિયાની લાંચ લેતા સબ રજિસ્ટ્રાર સહિત ત્રણ આરોપીઓને રંગેહાથ ઝડપવામાં આવ્યા છે.

મળતી માહિતી મુજબ સબ રજિસ્ટ્રાર આકાશ દેસાઈએ દસ્તાવેજમાં ક્ષતિ બતાવી હતી અને તે દૂર કરવા તથા કલેક્ટર કચેરીનું સર્ટિફિકેટ વિના કામ કરવા માટે લાંચની માગણી કરવામાં આવી હતી.

ફરિયાદીએ લાંચ ન આપતા ACBનો સંપર્ક કર્યો હતો, જેના આધારે ટ્રેપ ગોઠવવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
ટ્રેપ દરમિયાન જય આદિવાસી અને નરેન્દ્ર બોહરા લાંચ લેતા ઝડપાયા, જ્યારે રાહીલ શેખ ફરાર થઈ ગયો છે.

ACBએ સબ રજિસ્ટ્રાર, કરાર આધારિત કર્મચારી અને વચેટીયાની ધરપકડ કરી છે.
કુલ ચાર આરોપીઓ સામે ગુનો નોંધી સમગ્ર મામલે વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરાઈ રહી છે.
