રાજકોટ જિલ્લાના ભાયાવદર નગરપાલિકામાં ભ્રષ્ટાચારના આક્ષેપોને લઈને રાજકારણ ગરમાયું છે. પાણીની લાઇન છીછરી ફિટ કરવામાં આવતી હોવાના આક્ષેપ વચ્ચે વારંવાર તૂટફૂટ થતી હોવાનું વિપક્ષે જણાવ્યું છે. બુધવારે યોજાયેલી જનરલ બોર્ડ બેઠકનો વિપક્ષે બહિષ્કાર કરીને સત્તાધારી બોડી પર વિકાસના કામોમાં ગેરરીતિના ગંભીર આક્ષેપ લગાવ્યા છે. વિપક્ષના નેતા નયન જીવાણીએ જણાવ્યું કે રોડ, પાણી પુરવઠા અને અન્ય કામોમાં મોટા
 પ્રમાણમાં ભ્રષ્ટાચાર થયો છે, જેમાં કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર અને અધિકારીઓની સાંઠગાંઠ હોવાના આરોપો છે. સાથે જ બનાવાયેલા રોડની ગુણવત્તાની તપાસ કરીને ફરીથી કામ કરાવવા અને ત્યાં સુધી બિલ અટકાવવાની માંગ કરવામાં આવી છે. ન્યાય ન મળે તો ઉગ્ર આંદોલનની ચીમકી પણ આપવામાં આવી છે.
