He called it a “celebration dedicated to some of the most precious lives”… and “one of the most meaningful events” he attends.

And if you were there…you felt that.

You remember the moments that made you laugh - like Will Forte diving into the host hotel fountain, serenading the crowd with “Just Once” to spark donations.

You remember the unforgettable - like the final Big Slick performance by beloved actor and longtime Big Slick supporter, George Wendt, and Jason Sudeikis accurately predicting the engagement of Taylor and Travis...

But what stays with you…are the moments that don’t make the highlight reel.

The quiet visits inside childrensmercy 
The stories like Parker’s.
The families fighting battles no one should have to face.

Because behind the laughter and chaos of Big Slick is a harder truth - pediatric cancer receives only a small fraction of federal cancer research funding.

That gap is real.
And weekends like this help close it.

We’re grateful to Jake for continuing to use his voice to push for change - and to all of you who show up, give back, and make this community what it is.
