I think one of the hardest parts about family is realizing love doesn’t automatically mean compatibility.

Sometimes everybody cares… 
but still doesn’t know how to connect with each other in a way that actually feels good, safe, or natural.

And I think a lot of families are emotionally exhausted trying to force closeness while silently feeling misunderstood at the same time.

That’s what makes it complicated.

Because it’s not always about somebody having bad intentions.

Sometimes it’s just:
different people, 
different needs, 
different ways of communicating, 
different expectations, 
all trying to love each other from completely different emotional places.

And honestly…
I think a lot of us are grieving relationships that are still technically “there.”

Not because nobody cares.

But because we expected the connection to feel different than it does.
