Good afternoon #BlueAngel fans. Did you know that Blue Angel’s F/A-18 Super Hornets can reach speeds of upto 1,400 mph? This is possible due to the dual F414-GE-400 jet engines installed that produce a combined 44,000 pounds of thrust! The Power Plants work center is responsible for maintaining, replacing, and servicing Blue Angel aircraft engines, accessories, fuel, and smoke systems on the F/A-18 Super Hornet.
