Season 3! The Biggest, The Largest!  TastyChewy Presents Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Texas can look dusty from the highway.
But step closer. There’s a bunch of green space , like this one in Allen near Dallas. 

Humidity trapped under cedar canopies.
Storm cycles rolling in from the Gulf.
Dense forests in the East.
Decaying wood after spring rain.

That’s the formula.

Mushrooms don’t need perfection.
They need contrast.

Heat.
Moisture.
Shade.
Time.

From the piney woods near Texas to limestone creek beds in Central Texas, entire microclimates appear overnight after rainstorms.

One warm evening can transform fallen logs into living ecosystems by morning.

Fungi are nature’s recyclers.
Breaking down dead matter.
Feeding forests beneath the surface.
Connecting root systems like underground circuitry.

And Texas?
Texas gives them room to spread.

The state’s unpredictable weather creates stress, decay, moisture swings, and organic buildup — exactly the chaos fungi thrive in.
