Meryl Streep is mother, especially to Emily Blunt. 👀

At Blunt’s Walk of Fame ceremony, Streep took the mic and immediately set the tone:
“Emily, I feel like I birthed you really.” 😂

From there, it only got more heartfelt.

“I’m so proud of you and everything that fellas said is absolutely true. I can’t wait to work with you again. And the best thing about you getting this at such a tender age is that we’ll have you to kick around for at least thirty-five years if my career is any evidence and I’m just in love with you just like everybody else.” 🥹

A full-circle moment, considering their unforgettable chemistry in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. 👠

And just when the speech couldn’t get any better, Streep pivoted to their co-star Stanley Tucci.

“Now Stanley…” she said while giving sideeye to the audience. She then went on about her admiration for her co-star and how “Stanley has an elegance to his heterosexuality. His undeniable heterosexuality.” 🤣

Equal parts emotional and chaotic, the speech was peak Meryl.
