Where do I even begin?

These past two weeks have been excruciating—losing my dad 14 months ago, and now my aunt last week. It feels like God is testing us.

In all this pain, there has been a huge wave of love helping us through. Coming together like this isn’t what we wanted, but being together is what they both would’ve wanted. Our family will never be the same. I’m thankful for the memories and traditions my dad and my aunt built—Memorial Day games, camping trips, countless mind-boggling jokes, and so much more. It will all live on through us.

I will never be healed, but I’m thankful for the little reminders of them in me—my tattoo, my butterfly necklace, my work ethic, even my attitude 😉. It’s a reflection of both of you in me.

Grief is glitter—pretty in small doses, but you F*****g hate it.

May you both rest peacefully and happily. I love you endlessly and forever. 🤍🪽🦋🏝️
