Idaho Gives is happening right now, and there’s still time to show up for the nonprofits that keep our communities running.

If you’re not familiar, idahogives is a statewide giving event (May 4th–7th) where you can donate directly to hundreds of local nonprofits doing real work across Idaho. It’s all online, super easy, and every dollar goes toward organizations that are filling gaps, supporting families, and protecting what makes this place what it is.

Here are a few I personally love and support:

• Dominifarm Animal Sanctuary dominifarm 
Idaho’s largest farm animal sanctuary, caring for over 150 animals that were elderly, abandoned, or had nowhere else to go. Right now they’re trying to fund basic needs like shelter, safe electrical, water systems, and hay. The kind of behind-the-scenes support that literally keeps animals alive.

• The Idaho Diaper Bank idahodiaperbank 
Serving over 10,000 babies in the Treasure Valley with a need most people don’t think about. Diapers are not covered by assistance programs, and families are forced to choose between diapers and food every day. $100 provides 400 diapers, which supports 8 babies for a month.

• Life’s Kitchen lifeskitchen 
A 14-week program helping young adults facing major barriers build independence through culinary training, education, and job placement. It’s free for participants and gives them a real path forward when options are limited.

• Idaho Conservation League idahoconservationleague 
Protecting the land, water, and wildlife that define Idaho. From public lands to clean water to wildlife protection, they’re working to make sure the places we love are still here for the next generation.

• Surel’s Place surelsplace 
An artist residency and community arts space supporting creatives from Idaho and around the world. They bring art, performances, and workshops directly into the community and make it accessible for everyone.
