On April 28, we mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. At Raute, we recognize #SafetyDay with local activities that bring our teams together around an important topic.

At the same time, the day reminds us of the continuous work we do to strengthen our #SafetyCulture throughout the year.

We have been working on several safety initiatives, including:
✅ Introduced Golden Safety Rules to establish clear, shared principles for everyday work across Raute, supported by ongoing training for our employees.
✅ Integrated safety-by-design and ergonomics into machinery and production solutions through standardization and conceptualization of product lines, supporting safer use and operation.
✅ Strengthened safety leadership by engaging managers in regular discussions, safety rounds, and continuous training and coaching.
✅ Strengthened site-level risk management through regular safety rounds, 5S audits, and improved hazard assessment processes.
✅ Reinforced our Occupational Health and Safety Policy and promoted safety awareness through internal initiatives and our ongoing safety culture program

We strengthen #SafetyatWork every day; it’s our daily actions that make the biggest impact.
