## Caption

A University of Alberta student wore the same raw denim jeans about 330 times over 15 months without washing them. When tested, scientists found similar bacterial levels before and after washing, mostly harmless skin bacteria rather than dangerous microbes. The results suggested that infrequent washing does not significantly increase bacterial growth on jeans, though odor and hygiene still depend on personal habits and environment.
