• Mad Radio — Carrer Sant Pere Més Alt 31
Colombian owners, great pizza, cocktails, and a vinyl DJ room. Cool energy. madradiobarcelona 

• Casa Vendrell — Carrer Diputació 110
Now a wine bar, but once an olive oil bar — yes, you could refill your bottle straight from wall barrels. Barcelona never stops charming me. casavendrell 

• Bar Marcelino — Avinguda Miramar 11
Montjuïc views, Barcelona at your feet, and delicious patatas bravas. barmarcelino.canvermut 

• Baluard Barceloneta — Carrer del Baluard 38
That legendary bread. And now… chocolate bread with strawberries. Not cake. Bread. Worth mentioning twice.

Cozy little wine bar for a slow after-work glass.

Beautiful Italian spot. Chic, warm, very tasty.

Lovely menu, relaxed vibe, jazz on Wednesdays.

• Campanillo — Plaça Doctor Letamendi 37
Possibly the best hot dog in Barcelona, a little bottle of young champagne for €4… and suddenly life feels easier.

• Ripa Coffee — Carrer de la Canuda 15
My usual grab on the way to the office.
I also love Nude spots for example on Carrer d’Aribau 230 — but the lines there are serious.
