NEW DP WORK | hsn and curtisstone | directed by richardnwaoko!

I chose to operate with the dji_ronin 4D for this one. Every shot besides the b-roll, was a oner. I chose to use the 4D because of its ability to shoot run and gun movement easily and quickly. The entire day was filled with lots of on the fly plans. Camera operating requires a lot of anticipating human movements and because there was never really a set shot list and I was just following Curtis around the building all day, I had to really learn to predict where his next step would be. It was also really fun getting to operate while walking backwards, something that I have been trying to get better practice on 🤫

Overall, I had a great time using the 4D and 100% would use it again for situations like this. Be sure to check out the full show, streaming on HSN soon!
