📆 Performance Fee: The “day rate.” This is the flat fee paid for the talent’s time and labour on set
🌎 Usage Fee: The “permission slip.” This is what brands pay to use a talent’s image in specific places (like social media, TV, or billboards) for a set amount of time.
📬 Residuals: The “long-term dividend.” Ongoing talent payments when a project is rebroadcast, syndicated, or streamed after the initial shoot is over.
