Portland celebrated 503 Day the only way Portland can: with live music, karaoke, dancing, acrobatics, a pink-lit alley and a mayoral proclamation at 5:03 p.m.

The May 3 block party marked the launch of Ankeny Alley as the “Pink Light District” and landed on a record-breaking hot day, with Portland hitting 91 degrees.
