Social media is still one of the best tools in a motion designer’s, creator’s, or artist’s toolkit — and I mean that.

Yes, I’ve been open about looking for a studio job / permanence for the stability, especially during the slow months. But that doesn’t mean the opportunities dried up, they’re still coming in. Not all of them have aligned (pricing, expectations, timelines… you know how it goes), but some of them have been genuinely great.

The point is — don’t sleep on social. Just because it’s unpredictable doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. The consistency still pays off in ways you don’t always expect.

So for any artist out there who’s been second-guessing it, my advice hasn’t changed. Keep posting. Keep showing up. And post authentically.
