Is this the best acceptance speech of all time? This is Fred Rogers’ speech at the 1997 Emmys accepting a television Lifetime Achievement Award.

He speaks slowly, quietly, deliberately, with a beautiful lilting jazzy cadence (just like the music he wrote for his show). I tried to capture that here in the performance. Wishing you all a beautiful day in the neighborhood. With love, JH :)
