ad OMG… we’re officially starting the journey of surprising my Nana with her DREAM garden 🥹🌱✨
Episode 1 is here, and trust me… this space was in need of some serious love!!
I wanted to create a cosy little garden nook for her that felt relaxed, bohemian and full of character — all whilst keeping it affordable  bandq_uk honestly came through with SO many amazing finds for this makeover.
We gave old second-hand filing cabinets a complete glow up using Valsparpaintuk ‘s “Slice of Brioche” paint  and I added sand + PVA into the paint mix to create this incredible stone-effect texture… I’m OBSESSED with how realistic it looks!!
Then came the plants 🌸🌱🥰 and when I tell you I filled an entire trolley… I mean it 😂 The flowering plants from the B&Q garden centre were only £7 each, which felt like such a bargain.
One of my favourite additions has to be the Kilkstrom Cucino Pergola 3m x 3m — it completely transforms the space and makes it usable whatever the weather 🌦️ Honestly, I was surprised that it only took a day to assemble too! Definitely a two-person job though  and a little DIY hack… use a drill to speed up twisting all the bolts because there are A LOT 😂 It makes the whole build process so much quicker.
And can we talk about the GoodHome Omalos coffee garden furniture set?! £500 for a sofa, TWO swivel chairs and a coffee table feels unreal, honestly 👏 
Finished it all off with some solar lighting, and now the whole space feels so calm, cosy and inviting 
This is only the beginning though… come back for PART 2 because there’s still loads more DIY moments to create before revealing the full transformation to my Nana
