As Mother's Day approaches, we're celebrating the powerful  voices of moms, including our incredible Florida member and mom-of-three Nicole, who shared her testimony at the first-ever mom-centered Congressional hearing on affordability, "Moms Pay the Price." Nicole testified about the rising costs of health care and child care that have stretched her family's wallet – and also shared how the almost $1 trillion in funding cuts that President Trump and Republican leaders in Congress made to Medicaid have "made her heart churn," especially as the program was the coverage for her children's births. *Thank you to the demwomencaucus and the Mamas' Caucus for holding the powerful hearing.
