A commercial truck driver was arrested for extreme DUI after crashing into a guardrail on I-40 near Bellemont, Arizona.

According to Arizona Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene and noticed no signs the driver tried to avoid the crash.

Officials say the driver showed multiple signs of impairment and later tested at a .174 BAC — more than four times the legal limit for commercial drivers.
He was taken into custody and booked on DUI charges.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Situations like this are exactly why impaired driving — especially in large commercial vehicles — can be so dangerous.
