It's a special #TeacherTuesday during #TeacherAppreciationWeek! Today, we are highlighting two educators from Carroll M. Johnston STEM Academy. 

Ms. Jamie Henry comes from a family of educators and teaching is in her blood. For her, teaching is her purpose. Every school year, she has one goal: to make sure that students understand that they are capable of making all of their dreams come true. Her students hold a special place in her heart, and she wants to help guide them to accomplish their dreams. 

Ms. Dixon graduated from high school with the intention of becoming a math teacher. The longer she has been teaching the more she loves the variety of student thinking and the discourse in the classroom. She loves the moments when students help each other see their new insights as the classroom activities unfold.
