Teacher Appreciation Week runs from May 4 through May 8, honoring educators’ hard work and commitment to their roles. Students were asked to take a notecard to the teacher who best exemplified what was written on it. “I think teacher
appreciation week is important because there are a lot of people in this building who put a lot of effort into making things work smoothly, making sure kids are learning what they need to learn,” District Security Officer Brett Vasten said.
