I started UGC about 7 months ago and consistently hit 5 figure months. No I’m not lying, no I’m not special or putting in crazy amounts of effort. I’m just an average looking 26 year old with a messy room that still hits 5 figures with bad aesthetics lol

I’m gonna be ungatekeeping all the info I’ve compiled (I swear is literally NOT online) on how to make it in UGC/content creation soo follow for more

How to find brands
- outbound: cold email or DM brands you want to work with, brands listed in the Meta Ad Library, or brands you’ve seen UGC ads for while scrolling
- apply to jobs on creator platforms like JoinBrands, Collabstr, Brands Meet Creators, and Insense
- inbound: post your UGC samples (or any content, really) on social media and put your email in the bio so brands can email you 
What equipment
- Tripod
- iPhone camera is completely sufficient
- (Optional) Mic - I use the Dji 2
How to set prices
- Most beginners start at $200-300USD per video. You can start on the low end at $150 if you really just want practice. Experienced creators go up to $900-3000 per video 
Where to publish portfolio
- Most start with Canva
What camera settings
- HD (1080p) at a minimum, 30fps 
- Back camera if possible 
What editing tools
- CapCut 
Do I need a big following
- NO! You don’t need a social media presence at all, but it does help immensely for inbounds and pitching higher rates if you have one
How long should a video be
- 25-45 sec
- Format: hook -> body -> call to action
