adding a touch of whimsy to a store bought cake! ✨ I love how simple these chocolate monarchs are to make and would be perfect for a magical backyard garden party! ✨ -I printed out the butterfly template from Pinterest

-chocolate melting wafers 
-orange candy melts
-black food coloring (oil based)
-white sprinkles 
-store bought cake

Melt the chocolate wafers for 30 second bursts until fully melted, then mix in a few drops of black food coloring. Melt the orange wafers the same way, then place into piping bags. 

Place parchment paper on top of your template, then pipe the black outline of the butterfly wings. Use the orange chocolate to pipe inside the outlines. Add sprinkles to the edges of the wings. 

Allow the chocolate to set for a few minutes in the fridge before adding to your cake.
