Flower Fact of the Day : Celosia 🔥 If you want a flower that looks like it came from another planet but grows like a weed, this is it. It’s called celosia or “burning” in greek, and it’s one of the most underrated flowers you can grow. These wild-looking blooms come in two main forms: 🔥 Feathery plumes (they look like fire) 🧠 “Cockscomb” varieties (yeah… they literally look like brains and we’ll talk about those tomorrow)  But here’s the cool part. Celosia is native to tropical regions of Africa so it thrives in heat and poor soil. While other flowers are wilting in July, this one’s just getting started. The heat actually makes the colors more vibrant!  Even crazier? It’s actually edible in many parts of the world! It’s used like spinach.
