Today, on National Girls & Women in Sport Day, Lacrosse Australia celebrates the incredible women and girls who play, coach, officiate, lead, volunteer, and support our sport across the country.

It’s well documented that organised sport plays a critical role in the development of girls — building confidence, leadership skills, resilience, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the field of play. Within lacrosse, we see this impact every day at all levels of the game.

From grassroots programs like Quick Stix, through to clubs, competitions, and our national pathways, women and girls continue to shape the future of lacrosse in Australia. Their presence, passion, and leadership strengthen our sport and our communities.
