Every day is Mother’s Day in our world.
We never made a ritual of it. The truth is, I celebrate her in every breath of this life she gave me.

The bond between a son and his mother cannot be broken. Not by pain. Not by distance. Not by circumstance. The roots run too deep. Her quiet strength becomes the soil a son grows from. Her love, the sun he reaches toward. My success is her success. My path, the echo of her courage.

Our life mentor Daisaku Ikeda speaks of a mother’s love as the foundation of peace itself. A force that shapes a human being into someone who gives back.

I have lived that truth.
And beyond being my mother, she has become my creative partner. Quietly, patiently, we have been growing something together. A gift of life. A practical dialogue for living. A generational art piece, passed from her hands to mine, and from ours to yours.
