That squeeze was another accident too‼️😨

A local resident is asking the community for help after saying their Grey kia vehicle, seen next to a white one in the footage, which was allegedly sideswiped near 10th Line in Orléans.

According to the information shared, instead of stopping after the collision, the other driver allegedly fled the scene, then reportedly ran a red light at a busy intersection while squeezing between two vehicles to get through traffic and escape.

If the details are accurate, this is the kind of situation that could have ended far worse.

A sideswipe is one thing, but allegedly continuing to drive recklessly through an active intersection instead of stopping creates a much bigger danger for everyone around.

Intersections are already one of the highest risk places on the road with vehicles moving in different directions, pedestrians crossing, cyclists nearby, and families just trying to get where they need to go. One rushed decision in a moment like that can completely change lives.

The person involved is hoping someone in the area may have seen what happened, recognized the vehicle, or has dashcam footage that could help identify the driver involved.

With how many vehicles are on the road and how common dashcams have become, there’s always a chance someone captured something that could make a difference.

Hit and runs are frustrating enough when property damage is involved, but when the driver is also accused of dangerous actions while fleeing, it becomes a much bigger public safety concern.

People should be able to drive through their community without worrying about someone causing a collision and then taking extreme risks to avoid accountability.

If you happened to be in the area around that time and saw anything that may help, reach out to the person involved or the appropriate authorities.

Thoughts on this⁉️🤔⤵️
