Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎📚

We want to give a big shoutout to all the amazing educators across the country who show up for their students every day. A special thank you to our Buddy Bison School Program teachers who bring outdoor learning to life, like the awesome teachers from St. Ignatius Loyola Academy (MD) on their 8th-grade trip to the National Mall in Washington, DC!

Students kicked off their day at the Jefferson Memorial, where Ranger Jen welcomed them to the Mall and gave a preview of what they’d discover throughout their trip. From there, they set out on a self-guided scavenger hunt, searching for symbols and key historical features at each stop. Along the way, they visited the Jefferson, FDR, MLK, and Lincoln Memorials, closing the afternoon with a visit to a Smithsonian museum.

Thank you to all the passionate teachers who inspire curiosity and discovery in their students every day, both in and out of the classroom! 🫶
