## Caption

This is a throwback picture of me and one of my lifelong best friends. Growing up in New Jersey, we have always been huge New Jersey Devils fans. We would do a lot of Devils stuff together, like meet and greets with players, the mascot, and coaches. We also went to a bunch of games together such as the game Martin Brodeur became the NHL all time leader in wins, and that game was on St. Patrick’s Day because we went to the game to celebrate our birthdays, since they are both in March.

About 10ish years after this photo was taken, me and this same friend went to the Prudential Center to play in our high schools men’s ice hockey state championship game. I played center and my friend played goalie. Representing Morris Knolls, we won the state championship.

Stay tuned, I will post parts 2 and 3 within the next month or so - which will feature pictures of us with the NJ Devil and various other mascots about 8-9 years after this photo, and then part 3 will be us together on the Devils ice when we won the state championship.
