The 2026 NBA Draft Lottery took place and there has been some buzz around the league of who would receive the top few picks in the draft. This year’s draft class is LOADED with all-star talent from AJ Dybantsa to Darren Peterson to Caleb Wilson, this draft class is filled with players you don’t want to sleep on. 

The Washington Wizards were selected with the number one overall pick, which will ensure them of picking the top guy off the board. Now there isn’t necessarily a bonafide number 1 pick this year however scouts and experts are assuming that BYU star AJ Dybantsa will be heading to D.C. They could also look at taking young point guard from Kansas Darryn Peterson however with the recent trade bringing in Trae Young, personally I don’t see them doing this.
