Ever since I’ve been getting older, I feel like I’ve watched less and less basketball. Maybe it’s because I’ve been busy, because I still am interested, but I just haven’t watched the NBA as much. I feel like the sport of basketball had changed a lot too, and it’s a completely different game. So much three point shooting, free throws, iso ball. Back then it was big man, down low, hard defense, hard fouls, good defense. Not saying either time is better than one another, I’m just saying to think about how different the game is now with people like LeBron James, Steph Curry, Wemby, Paul George, Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Cade Cunningham, Paolo Banchero, Zion Williamson, Trae Young, Chet Holmgren, Jayson Tatum, Payton Pritchard, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brunson, and KAT playing as compared to when Michael Jordan was running the show, and even back to when Wilt Chamberlain was dominating. Safe to say that the NBA has developed into a completely different league, and while the talent and product is amazing, I just feel like I haven’t been watching quite as much NBA games.
