A deload isn't a rest week. It's a tool for more precise strength training. Here's exactly how to run deloads. 👇

Most people skip deloads because they think it will cause a delay in progress, that's not the case at all. In fact, deload weeks help you keep progressing. 🔄

More about training stress: it accumulates silently. You don't feel the fatigue building week over week until suddenly your lifts stall, your joints ache, and motivation tanks.

That's not a mindset problem. That's your body sending an overdue invoice. A deload pays it before it's late. 💵

Every 3–4 weeks, run this:
➡️ Monday - Lower Strength @ 60% of normal volume, same weights
➡️ Tuesday - Cardio, Zone 2 only. Drop Zone 3 entirely
➡️ Wednesday - Upper Push @ 60% volume
➡️ Friday - Upper Pull @ 60% volume
➡️ Thursday, Saturday & Sunday - Recovery - add an extra rest day or an easy walk

Athletes understand they need to deload consistently in order to make progress 3, 6, 9 months from now. 👟

Deloads aren't where gains stop. They're where gains get locked in.🔒

💡 Fitbod tracks your muscle recovery score after every session, that includes during deload weeks. Which means you'll know exactly what's recovered and what still needs time. No guesswork. Just accurate, personalized data. 💪
