One of Disneyland’s original rides is getting with the times.
Here’s your morning minute.
 
The LA Times reports the park will replace the gas-powered, classic Autopia cars with fully electric ones.
The transition is expected in early 2027.
The entertainment giant has been under pressure from electric vehicle advocates who urged Disney to ditch gasoline engines.
Autopia remains the last original attraction still operating in Tomorrowland since 1955.

The push for old-fashioned letter writing could be coming back.
More than 15,000 people signed up for a pen pal project during the pandemic. that continues today.
The U.S. Postal Service also sent cards and envelopes to 25,000 elementary schools, encouraging kids to explore the medium from the past.
 
After months of ticket sales, the winning ticket of the 22nd annual Saint Jude Dream Home Giveaway has been selected!
Henry Fernandez of Fowler will be the new owner of a beautiful, brand new "de young properties" home, worth nearly 500,000 dollars.
But the other winners are the patients and families who benefit from the work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, to end cancer and other rare childhood diseases.
This year's dream home giveaway raised more than 863,000 dollars.
