First Lady Melania Trump is hosting a White House celebration on Wednesday afternoon honoring America’s military mothers, recognizing their sacrifices and the vital role they play in supporting service members and their families.

“Your loved one serves in defense of our freedom,” she told mothers.
The event brought together military mothers from across the country, with President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance also in attendance.

The gathering will highlight the contributions of mothers whose children serve in the armed forces, as well as those who have lost loved ones in service to the nation.

During the event in 2025, the first lady praised the strength and resilience of military families and emphasized the unique challenges faced by mothers who support loved ones in uniform.
