📣 📣 📣 This week’s Shabbat Shout Out goes to our entire Upper Division community for an unforgettable Shabbaton. 📣 📣 📣 

🖤❤️ There are a lot of people who made this weekend what it was and deserve a HUGE Shabbat Shout Out!!

To the staff—who gave up their weekend to chaperone, cook, supervise, problem-solve, and somehow keep everything running—thank you. None of this happens without you.

To Student Council—who planned the programming, organized the supplies, loaded, unloaded, and quite literally made the weekend happen. And yes…sold and distributed close to 10,000 Shabbatograms on Friday night.  You are mensches and if you see these amazing students on campus, thank them for a job well done!

To our seniors—who stood up and shared speeches that were thoughtful, honest, and powerful enough that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. (The same cannot be said for the lake, which is currently more mudpit than waterfront—but we’re optimistic about a comeback next year.)

And to the Student Leadership Club—for creating a new songbook that will carry this experience forward.

It’s hard to capture everything that a Shabbaton is. But somewhere between the logistics, the ruach, the laughter, the reflection, and the community—you feel it.
