What’s in my spring camera bag for sports photography?

Cameras
- Canon R3: Due to receiving two batteries that didn’t hold charge, the R3 just sat on my desk until I bought a new battery. Now it’s my go to camera body for sports with its quick focus and ridiculous amount of FPS.

- Canon R6 MkII: Purchased as a Christmas gift to myself a few years ago, it was a much needed upgraded after struggling with my DSLR at the time in poor lighting and missing peak action shots.

Lenses (all f2.8)
- 70-200mm: Results may vary, but it is entirely possible to cover field sports with this lens. For baseball and softball, the batters box to certain parts of the infield can be captured with no problem.

- 300mm: After noticing a lack of sharpness with my 70-300 fully extended, I decided to purchase my first prime telephoto lens. The improvement in quality was noticeable right away, and the subject/background separation was crazy.

- 400mm: This lens is just awesome. Although at times the 400 can be awkward to handle, it makes up for it in sharpness and reach. Not to mention the comments it receives when people see it for the first time.
