Our 2026 season has come to a close. While we didn’t hoist the National Championship trophy, we earned the opportunity to play on the final day of the season. For the second time in four years, Virginia Tech competed in the MCLA National Championship Game. The only other program to accomplish that in this span: BYU.

This team was SPECIAL.

From Day One, this group understood the value of CULTURE. They showed up every single day with purpose, toughness, and belief in one another. They worked for each other, trusted each other, and when the lights shined brightest, they FOUGHT for each other until the final whistle. We could not be more proud of the effort, heart, and resilience this team displayed all season long.

To our seniors: thank you.

You leave behind a legacy built on CULTURE, accountability, and brotherhood. You helped elevate this program and set a standard that future Hokies will chase for years to come. Your accomplishments speak for themselves

No senior class in Virginia Tech Men’s Lacrosse history had ever reached the MCLA National Championship Game twice, until this group. Thank you for everything you gave to this program. We will miss you tremendously.

And finally, thank you to all of YOU for your support throughout this journey. Hokie Nation showed up for us in countless ways; through donations, snacks, phone calls, messages, travel, and unwavering belief in this team. There are far too many people to name individually, but please know this: every bit of support mattered and helped fuel this special season.

We are grateful. We are proud. And we are just getting started.
