From over 185+lbs and what felt like I looked 6 months pregnant… to feeling strong, confident, and more like me.

When my twins, Aarya and Radha, were born, I had no idea how long it would take to feel comfortable in my body again. Honestly I was too busy to even care or think about those things. As my twins started to grow older I started to realize how uncomfortable I was in my body. I was out of breath all the time, finding clothes that would fit was hard, forget even looking at cute clothes at the store and most importantly I just couldn’t recognize myself in the mirror. As a C-section mom, I believed I’d have to starve myself or push through extreme workouts to see any real change but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I started my postpartum journey slowly, and here are a few key changes I made that helped me start to lose weight and see realistic changes:
✅Upping my water intake.
✅Starting my morning with lemon water or a gut healthy or metabolism boosting drink.
✅Starting with intermittent fasting.
✅Eating high-protein, balanced meals (no cutting carbs!)
✅Finishing dinner by 7–8 PM
✅Walking 5k steps a day-or doing strength training (managing time for walks or workouts was impossible, but even if you do it for 15-20 mins, do it!)
✅Zumba, Bollywood dance, or whatever felt fun that day.
✅Staying consistent -even when life with twins felt like chaos.
I had set backs but I kept getting back to my journey.

Moms, I know how hard it is to make time for yourself, let alone stay consistent. And I know the internet can make it feel impossible to “lose the mom pooch.” But here’s the truth:
You don’t need to do extreme workouts or skip meals. You just need smart habits, consistency, and a whole lot of self-love.
