하이브-게펜레코드는 12일 일본 OTT 플랫폼 아베마(ABEMA)를 통해 공개된 ‘월드 스카우트: 더 파이널 피스’ 최종화에서 에밀리, 렉시, 사마라, 사쿠라로 구성된 새 걸그룹 세인트 새틴의 탄생을 알렸습니다. 사쿠라는 약 1만 4000 대 1 경쟁률을 뚫고 마지막 멤버로 합류했습니다.

세인트 새틴은 글로벌 걸그룹 KATSEYE를 배출한 하이브-게펜의 오디션 및 T&D 시스템을 기반으로 탄생한 두 번째 팀입니다. 팀명은 강렬한 카리스마를 뜻하는 ‘Saint’와 부드럽고 세련된 이미지를 의미하는 ‘Satine’을 결합해 완성됐습니다. 그룹은 올해 하반기 데뷔를 목표로 활동에 나섭니다.

The group was officially revealed in the finale of ‘World Scout: The Final Piece’, released May 12 through Japanese streaming platform ABEMA. Emily, Lexi and Samara — previously introduced through ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’ — are joined by Sakura, who secured the final spot after competing against odds reportedly reaching 14,000 to 1.
SAINT SATINE becomes the second girl group launched through HYBE x Geffen’s global audition and T&D system following KATSEYE. According to the company, the group name combines “Saint,” representing charisma and presence, with “Satine,” symbolizing elegance and refinement. The group is aiming for a debut later this year.
