I think sometimes we don’t realize how much of ourselves we’ve been giving away because we’re too busy trying to keep up with everything and everyone all at once.

After a while it all gets so loud that you can’t even really hear yourself anymore.

And I think that’s the part that gets me because I can feel myself slipping back into trying to keep everybody comfortable and happy the way I used to instead of just letting people be who they are and letting myself be who I am too.
