PhysicsWallah founder and CEO Alakh Pandey has launched a fierce critique against the National Testing Agency following the massive controversy surrounding the NEET-UG exam. In a series of viral social media interviews, he called out the complete "systemic failure" that led to the leak and subsequent cancellation of the examination. Pandey highlighted the hypocrisy of the examination guidelines, questioning why extreme security measures—such as banning watches, jackets, and shoes—are heavily enforced on students while the internal administration completely fails to safeguard the question papers. He alleged that an organised, powerful syndicate involving insiders and influential people leaked the paper to make "quick money" at the expense of honest aspirants. Expressing deep empathy, he noted that families make immense financial sacrifices and students drop out for up to five years to prepare, only to have their trust in the system completely shattered. The edtech leader aggressively called for strict action, stating that if any coaching institute or insider is found guilty, they should face capital punishment. He further argued that wealthy parents who buy leaked papers for crores of rupees are just as guilty as the sellers because they are actively destroying the dreams of hardworking children. To alleviate the crisis, Pandey demanded a permanent shift toward secure digital examinations to eradicate the vulnerable offline paper trail. He also announced free coaching initiatives through PhysicsWallah to support the 22 lakh affected students as they prepare for the forced re-examination. Despite expressing profound sadness over the recurring nation-wide scams, he urged students to stay resilient, keep working hard, and not lose complete faith in the country's future
