Law Graduate Spotlight 🎓: Dee Akinbosade

Dee is a Juris Doctorate (JD) student from Nigeria. During his time at UO law, he served as the president of the law student government, vice president of the moot court board, and the executive editor of the law review. He was also a member of the black law student's association and the student animal law defense fund.

He shares that "the sense of community at UO law and, most importantly, my friends made my experience special. Although the journey was rough and filled with several difficult moments, I never felt alone. They were always with me through every step, and I knew I could always count on them no matter what law school threw at me."

After graduation, Dee plans on working at a law firm in Portland specializing in workers' compensation and employment law.
