## Caption

Beyond blessed to be selected as a finalist for CSC Photographer of the Year in my first year ever submitting a portfolio.

Every school year, I go into it trying to figure out how I can level up from the year before. This year, I really challenged myself to step away from what had always worked and put myself into positions where there was a high chance of failure just to see what I could accomplish creatively, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I could’ve made.

I’m thankful for every team and every athlete that trusted me to tell their story through my lens throughout the year, and grateful for the people who supported me, pushed me creatively, and helped make this portfolio possible.
