Full circle moment. 🥹 The baby I was pregnant with while walking across North Carolina Central University’s campus…the baby I had while I was a junior…the little girl who literally lived on campus with me and became everybody’s “campus baby”… today she earned her MSW from the very same place. 🎓She first graduated from NCCU with her BSW, and now at just 22years old, only one year after finishing her bachelor’s degree, she has officially mastered it. Whew! 🥹…There’s something so emotional about looking back at those younger versions of ourselves. I was just a young mama trying to figure life out while carrying and raising her in those dorm rooms, classrooms, and campus sidewalks (shout out my village!) And now here we are, years later, watching her walk across that same stage with another degree in her hands. That’s my legacy! God has a way of bringing things full circle in the most beautiful way. I’m so full. So proud. So grateful. 🥹❤️ #raisingcultures #nccu #MSW @Zari🍒
